Day 1: Fly Addis Abeba – Arba Minch

On arrival at Arba Minch, drive up into the Gughe Mountains to visit the traditional Dorze people and see their towering, beehive-like houses.

Day 2: Arba Minch – Turmi

After breakfast, take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit the “Crocodile Market,” a feeding ground for Nile crocodiles, hippos, and various birds. Drive to Turmi, stopping en route to visit a Konso village (UNESCO), known for their elaborate terracing. Continue to visit a Bana village before arriving in Turmi to meet the Hamer tribes.

Day 3: Turmi – Omorate – Jinka

After breakfast, take an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassenech people who live on the northern shore of Lake Turkana. Drive back to Turmi for lunch, then proceed to Jinka. Visit the Ari people upon arrival in Jinka.

Day 4: Jinka – Mago National Park – Addis Ababa

Take a day excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi village. The Mursi women are famous for wearing terra cotta plates in their lower lips and earlobes. Drive back to Jinka for lunch. Transfer to Jinka Airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. In the evening, attend a folkloric dinner and coffee ceremony before transferring to the airport for your departure.
