Day 1: Gondar – Debark – Sankaber Camp
Drive from Gondar to Debark to secure permits and a scout, then continue to Sankaber (3,250m). Begin trekking from Buyit Ras, enjoying sweeping escarpment views and your first encounters with Gelada baboons. Overnight at Sankaber campsite.
Day 2: Sankaber – Geech Camp
Trek via the spectacular Jinbar Waterfall, descending to the Jinbar River before climbing to Geech village and campsite. The area is known for Giant Lobelia plants and stunning mountain scenery. Optional sunset hike to Keda Dit.
Day 3: Geech – Imet Gogo – Ambaras – Gondar
Morning hike to Imet Gogo for one of the most breathtaking views in the Simien Mountains. Watch Lammergeier vultures soaring below the cliffs. Continue trekking to Ambaras village, where your vehicle meets you for the return drive to Gondar.
